I took my sister to Lake Road Winery and what a beautiful place! The care that is taken to make their wine shines through not only in the aroma and taste, but also the presentation! Such a selection and such knowledge and love of a delicate craft. We will definitely be back!
Really cool, secluded winery. The wine maker, Mitchell Smith, gave me and my buddy a tasting and told us a bit about the area. The wine was exceptional for the price
Mitchell is a fine winemaker, and an engaging personality. We enjoyed our tasting. On our way from Beaufort to New Bern, perfect stop. Did not taste a wine we did not love. Needed a case to take our purchases home. Also love the glasses.
My wife and I stopped by on our way back to Winston Salem after a couple of days in Morehead City. The wines are fantastic and the winemaker was a wonderful host. We greatly enjoyed our visit here and bought two bottles to take home.
Mitchell, the winemaker was super awesome. There are numerous wines to choose from! There's a little bit for everyone to make everyone happy. He also has a shop with other awesome products such as cheese, chips and different salsas. We left eith a few bottles and will be back!
