It saddened me to read such a negative review! The gentleman must be confused as this in no way resembles the library I visit. I am always greeted warmly when i go in and always told goodbye. I have never had any problems with the service provided, As a matter of fact, they go above and beyond to assist. As far as personalities go, that is another reason I enjoy this library. All of the ladies are friendly and actually a lot of fun, I urge anyone who reads these reviews to take mine as a sincere appreciation for the ladies of the Newport Public Library! Beth C.
Honestly, I felt like I was inconveniencing them by coming in, requesting a library card, and checking out/returning books. Talking with the women that work there is about like talking to a brick wall. No personalities whatsoever. Don't want to go back.
Today I don't even want to give them a one star... I did like going there all the time but today I called and old lady was RUDE & HUNG UP ON ME! Must had a bug up her A**! Sorry to say. Love to go to the Library anyway! Have a lovely day!
